The Genealogy Club meets once per month to discuss genealogy. All experience levels are welcome. The meetings often include a program or video followed by a discussion and sharing of ideas, resources, and advice. On occasion, a member of the group will provide the program for the group. If a webinar or other online tool is used, it will be posted to the Club's Facebook Group within a few days of the meeting. The Club's Facebook site can be found as a "group" on the Library's Facebook site. Occasionally, the program will be streamed on Facebook Live. There is no official "club" to join; the Club is just a group of people interested in genealogy and sharing knowledge with others. Members are welcome to attend anytime they are able. The Club does not do genealogy or family trees for people. Register for this program below or call 330-745-1194, option 2 for more information. |

Springtime conjures up wonderful images of flowers blooming and birds singing, and in Barberton, it used to signal the return of the swans to Lake Anna. As most of us know, the swans were not native to Lake Anna, and they were not always a feature of downtown Barberton. The tradition of having swans on Lake Anna began with an unusual set of circumstances.
Come hear the story of the Lake Anna Swans at this Barberton history program. Registration is not required.
