What's that noise? The 17-year cicadas are back Online
Spring 2021 will mark the start of a once-every-17-year mating season for these 2021 cicadas, known as Brood X. Cicadas typically emerge in the middle of May. Once the weather starts to get warmer, these insects come out after nearly two decades of living underground. This program will be presented by Jacqueline Kowalski, MA, Educator, Agriculture and Natural Resources for Summit County's OSU Extension office.
