National Library Week

Join us in honoring the importance of libraries in our lives and communities. Whether you're a regular visitor or haven't yet had the chance to experience all that we offer, National Library Week is the perfect time to celebrate the unique magic of libraries and the profound impact they have on individuals and society as a whole.

Get your library card!: April 7-13

Get the best deal of your life by getting your library card! For this special occasion, we will be giving out a free library tote bag with some library accessories for anyone who gets their library card during National Library Week! *While supplies last.*

Feed Your Community & Your Mind Donation Drive: April 8-30

Give back to your community by participating in our BACM donation drive! Do you have damaged or lost item fees at the Library? This is your chance to get your library card reinstated for free! If possible, bring back the damaged or lost items and bring a donation for BACM food pantry to get up to $20 taken off your total damage fee! * ALL ITEMS MUST BE OWNED BY THE BARBERTON PUBLIC LIBRARY, NO HOLDS FROM OTHER LIBRARIES*

Don't have any fees? Bring in a donation to get a free Barberton Public Library tote bag and other library accessories! *While supplies last*

Participate in the American Library Association's #HowILibrary Competition!

- Snap a picture or take a video showcasing your favorite thing about your local library!

- Post to Instagram, Threads, X/Twitter, or on the I Love Libraries Facebook page with the hashtag #HowILibrary. Tag your local library to let them know how much they are appreciated!

What's in it for you?
