We are very excited to announce that our Community Health Library Branch turns 20 years old this year. The branch serves the Barberton community by providing current, reliable, and dependable resources regarding community health. This includes information on diet, exercise, diseases and their treatment, current topics like the pandemic, and affordable health care. The Library also has a ‘fun’ side which includes popular movies, paperbacks, and magazines. This is a bonus to the hospital staff who are among the library’s most loyal patrons. The branch library participates in the CLEVNET Library Consortium, allowing patrons at all libraries to borrow materials, including those from the Community Health Library Branch.

The library is located on the first floor of Summa Barberton Hospital. We are just off the Central Elevators. Patrons with Barberton and Clevnet library cards are welcome to use the services at the library. We are small – only 200 square feet but we’re mighty!
