Opera: It’s Not Just Old...or Italian! In-Person
Opera may have been born in Italy, but fast-forward to the 21st Century, and Italy is no longer the hotbed for new opera. How has the art form changed from its inception to today? In this program, listeners are guided through some of the 21st century's most notable composers and works to help audiences become acquainted with operas being written around the world in the modern age as well as some of today’s trends. Presented by the Education & Engagement Staff of the Cleveland Opera Theater.
